CrowdEvents LLC ("CrowdEvents", "we", "us") operates the website crowdevents.org and provides event management services. This policy describes what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding that information.
Contact form submissions: When you request a quote or contact us through the website, we collect your name, email address, organization name, and any information you include in your message.
Event attendee data: When we produce events for clients, the client provides attendee information (names, emails, dietary preferences, accessibility needs) for event logistics. We process this data on behalf of the client and delete it within 90 days after the event concludes.
Website analytics: We do not use third-party analytics or tracking cookies. Our web server records standard access logs (IP address, page requested, timestamp) for security and troubleshooting. These logs are retained for 30 days.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use personal information for advertising. We do not send unsolicited marketing emails.
We share personal information only with service providers necessary to deliver our services: venue partners, catering companies, AV vendors, and registration platform providers. Each receives only the information necessary for their role. We do not share information with data brokers or advertising networks.
Contact form submissions are retained for two years, after which they are deleted. Event attendee data provided by clients is deleted within 90 days of the event. Financial records are retained for seven years as required by law.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at privacy@crowdevents.org. Colorado residents have additional rights under the Colorado Privacy Act, including the right to opt out of the sale of personal data (we do not sell data) and the right to data portability.
We use industry-standard measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (TLS) for all website traffic and access controls for stored data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our services are not directed at individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
